This emotion is interrelated with anger and both of them are deadly mixture.
But importancy of knowing is that all negative emotions, like jelaousy, derives from selfishness which is self-centeredness.
Self-centeredness is the root of all our troubles. Driven by a forms of fear, insecurity, self-pity and other delusions.

Our troubles are our own making because of our own projections. They arise out of ourselves, out of our mind.

So basically we are self-will riot that constantly judge and blame others for all our failures. And that leads to even more pain, fear, anger…like in vicious circle.

Self-hatred and self-love are equally self-centered – Mason Cooley

Many people think that by jealous shouting, humiliating, envy defaming, insulting, beating, despising, abusiveness, showing their authority and power, but in real they are pointing on poor mind and immaturity. Keep in mind that  jealousy such as other negative emotions can lead us to insanity, to the actions that for sure we will regret and after all to suffering.

But we all want to be happy right, so let’s do what we want to see, so let’s speak what we want to hear, so let’s think  what we want to feel and let’s become what we want to be.

If we are not kind and good to ourselves, how can we possibly be kind towards others?

We must first abandon negative thinking, talking and actions and only then we will become aware of kindness and goodness of others. Only then we will be able to perceive the goodness and make peace with ourselves.

Jealousy contains more of self-love than of love – Francois de La Rochefoucauld

Why Jealousy?

Jealousy is a form of continuous anger. It is a form of hatred. Blaming, accusing, mocking, ridiculing, unjust criticism, censure, vilifying, tale-bearing, backbiting, fault-finding, complaining – all proceed from jealousy, either subtle or gross, a hatred of various sorts.
